Location
Play Lab Counseling is not your traditional therapy office. We’re located inside Elevator, a creative building filled with small businesses, artists, and makers. Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted at the secure entrance by either me or Elevator staff. Once inside, help yourself to drinks and snacks before taking the elevator to the second floor. The elevator opens into a bright, comfortable waiting area with three soundproof work booths—ideal for catching up on emails or enjoying a quiet moment before your session. From there, I will guide you down the hallway to the right, past the restrooms and around the corner to my office.
Parking
Elevator offers ample paid parking, making your arrival simple and stress‑free. Instead of circling for street parking or worrying about time limits, you can pull right into a spot and head inside at your own pace. Clients often appreciate the convenience—especially during Iowa winters and rainy days.
Parking options include:
-
Covered garage parking steps from the entrance
-
Easy pay‑by‑app or kiosk options
Arriving a few minutes early gives you time to park, grab a drink, and settle into the welcoming atmosphere before your session. If there are ever any issues, Elevator staff will help us find an easy solution to ensure that parking will never be a stressor for clients.
